It is all BS. Most or all of the 'information' we get is half-truths and speculation by people who don't get paid if they don't make some noise or spill some ink.
I remember when people, asked about things like this, used to say, "Your guess is as good as mine."
But there is no money in that for the chattering classes.

Imagine my surprise when a census worker showed up at my door yesterday because I hadn't done. She knew I had the long form and had it with her for us to complete and I told her when and where I filled out, even approximate time of day, and she asked for confirmation code so went to work trying to find.
