We are excited to announce that after months of work, the Commissioners will be releasing their final report and recommendations on Tuesday November 28, 2023, at a reconvened virtual hearing. There will be two hearings:
the first in English starting 11 am Eastern.
the second in French starting 2 pm Eastern.
NCI will be broadcasting these events on our website and through our social media channels. They will be recorded if you can’t watch them November 28. Please see the website for full details and links: https://nationalcitizensinquiry.ca/.
Once the report is released, NCI will share it widely and work to see that those with authority to implement its recommendations do so. That will take us well into 2024. If you would like to stay updated on NCI’s activities, please sign up for our e-newsletter if you haven’t already:

I grew up without trigger warnings.
I drank water from the hose.

We couldn’t pause TV. We’d call out “It’s on!” as soon as the commercials started to end (for those who had left the room). And we watched our favourite shows as a family.
There was no next day delivery.
There was no bundle this with that.
There was no internet. Skip the Dishes didn’t exist.
Fast food was not the norm. It was easier to eat healthy. There were home phones. There was VH.........
