After Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau implemented the National Energy Program in the early 1980s, it was common to see bumper stickers in Alberta reading, “Let the Eastern Bastards Freeze in the Dark.” It seems as though Trudeau the younger is intent on enacting his revenge — ensuring westerners will be the ones freezing in the dark.

Did anyone here watch the town hall from Edmonton last night? I watched the first from Red Deer on X and attempted to watch last night on FB but the hecklers and comments pissed me off so quit watching. after about 15 minutes. They are sure a different bunch north of me and I don't say that in a positive way from what I heard. I am sure Ganum will have something to say negative as he didn't watch from Red Deer but had lots to say.
