All Species Are thriving But Man

The real threat is environmentalists, bureaucrats and politicians
[Skip the first part to get to the meat]
Industrial action and over-hunting eviscerated species in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s in America, but all are long recovered. The environmental Kuznet’s Curve demonstrates that as median income rises - starting at $5000 per capita - environmental protection rises just as fast. I am part of the new generation in the country, sharply aware of its vulnerability, beauty and its resilience. “Nature,” says America’s most prominent philosopher of natural science, Alston Chase, “is far more resilient than man.”

The environmental movement was taken over by multinational corporate interests sometime in the early 2000’s and twisted to its purpose which is to say taking as much land away from individuals or families and banking it for themselves. Environmental NGO’s now dance to their tune, inflict

Tamara Lich and Chris Barber got 12 months of house arrest today for “mischief.”
Not violence.
Not property damage.
Mischief.

Peaceful Canadians—criminalised for daring to speak out. The same justice system that drops charges for real crimes and lets violent offenders walk free spent three years trying to break two people who stood for freedom.
The Crown had outrageously demanded seven years in jail to make an example out of them.

Why?
To warn you.
To scare anyone who might ever peacefully defy the state again.

Even the judge admitted Chris Barber “came with the noblest of intent” and never called for violence.

But it didn’t matter. They needed bogeymen.

We remember all the others:
Maxime Bernier was handcuffed in Manitoba for speaking at a peaceful rally.
Mark Friesen was fined thousands for organizing gatherings.
Randy Hillier saw convoy charges stayed after years of harassment.
