According to the CDC, a vaccine/product is withdrawn or recalled rarely, and it recall has always been due to lack of efficacy or safety of the product in question. The Rotavirus vaccine has been recalled, for example, due to caused intussusception. Gardasil was also recalled, among others.

Aren't they just wonderful! Her add to post is interesting. I have a son working on a pipeline in B.C. that was approved many years ago that I hadn't heard of as it never makes the news. Previously he worked on Trans Mountain which was major news daily.
