Thanks to all the folks who find thought-provoking and entertaining articles to post here

Keep up the good work and feel free to share posts with friends. Spread the word.

To the lurkers: if you have never posted, don't be shy. If you find something that reveals a new truth, confirms our biases -- or challenges our biases -- sock it to us.

And, as for the cost of full participation, it all goes to good causes except for the small percentage that Locals.com takes to keep the lights on. But even if you just read once in a while, we are happy to have you here.

(BTW, don't automatically believe everything you read here. Some of us post quirky stuff, just because it is thought-provoking.)

After she was elected Premier, Danielle Smith Locals disappeared for understandable reasons since we are outspoken and a potential target for her many unscrupuolous enemies, so we set up The Lions.

His biological parents later divorced when he was around 12, and in his early twenties, he connected with his biological mother, a nurse in North Carolina, and his maternal grandfather for the first time.
Growing up in suburban Calgary, Poilievre enjoyed competitive sports like hockey, football, and wrestling—though a shoulder tendinitis injury at age 14 sidelined him from the latter, prompting him to accompany his mother to a Progressive Conservative meeting that sparked his lifelong interest in politics!
