Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has established an 18-member Council on U.S. Relations to support him in dealing with the incoming U.S. administration.
The council includes former premiers, business leaders, and policy experts. Here is a list of the members:

Stephen McNeil - Former Nova Scotia Premier (Liberal)
Brian Topp - Former Chief of Staff to Rachel Notley
David MacNaughton - Former Canadian Ambassador to the United States
Steve Verheul - Former Chief Trade Negotiator for CUSMA
Jody Thomas - Former National Security and Intelligence Adviser

Kirsten Hillman - Current Canadian Ambassador to the United States
Flavio Volpe - Head of the Automotive Parts Manufacturers' Association
Tabatha Bull - President and CEO of the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business
Martin Caron - President of Quebec's farmers' union
Lana Payne - National President of Unifor
Tim Gitzel - CEO of Cameco (uranium company)
Linda Hasenfratz - CEO of Linamar (manufacturing company)
Shahrzad Rafati - CEO of RHEI (marketing company)

Wes Hall - Entrepreneur and TV personality from "Dragons' Den"
This diverse group of individuals brings expertise from various sectors, including politics, diplomacy, trade, business, and labor unions. The council's primary purpose is to support the Prime Minister and Cabinet in navigating the Canada-U.S. relationship, particularly in light of potential challenges posed by the incoming U.S. administration.
It is pathetic when you have 5 running for mayor and 24 for city Councillor and you can't come up with 8 you would vote for for Councillor. I pass by if they are a civil servant or don't know the responsibility of the different levels of government. This is Red Deer. I have been waffling on Mayor but have finally made up my mind. Two former city Councillors are HELL NO's and hope to see their asses in rear view mirror.

Tamara Lich and Chris Barber got 12 months of house arrest today for “mischief.”
Not violence.
Not property damage.
Mischief.
Peaceful Canadians—criminalised for daring to speak out. The same justice system that drops charges for real crimes and lets violent offenders walk free spent three years trying to break two people who stood for freedom.
The Crown had outrageously demanded seven years in jail to make an example out of them.
Why?
To warn you.
To scare anyone who might ever peacefully defy the state again.
Even the judge admitted Chris Barber “came with the noblest of intent” and never called for violence.
But it didn’t matter. They needed bogeymen.
