Detective Helen Grus last night. Never have I seen citizens unite to publicly honour a serving police officer in this way. Helen’s integrity, courage, and devotion to her sworn duty have inspired so many Canadians – but these same qualities caused a corrupt core of public officials and Ottawa Police command to target her in 2022.
