The Trump Tariffs and Canada’s History as a Trading Nation

Canada has to decide whether we want to be compatible with United States in our politics and our culture, or insist on moving away from the common North American culture.
Canada has always been of two minds in that regard And sometimes as attempted to isolate the economy and at other times is attempted to integrate.
In recent years the countries drew closer together but after 2016 there has been a divergence that is becoming increasingly apparent. Both countries have been subjected corruption and treason within high offices but the United States is turning away from the creeping coup underway in both countries.
Canada has doubled down on permitting the Global takeover and can't figure out why our old friend has turned a cold shoulder.
The US is sobering up and becoming very concerned about Canadian lawlessness in government and on the streets.
As a result they, without saying so in so many words, are now treating Canada as a foreign adversary or threat and not as a cooperative and friendly neighbor.
The current path seems to indicate that our government and possibly the population are opting to split from the US and have not realized what the cost will be, given so closely our economies have become integrated.
This forced dependency is partly a result of lobbying and manipulation by 'environmentalis' snd "Indigenous" activist/terrorists and diverse NG0s financed by US billionaires and Soros to oppose separate Canadian development.
