Who do you support these days?

Daily newspaper delivery is a thing of the past but today we have a lot of options that are actually cheaper than what we used to pay to get a wet newspaper on the doorstep.

I support Rebel News and I support the Western Standard.

I had my doubts about Juno News but they are really doing a good job, so I recommend you take a look and support them.

Please add other media worthy of support in the comments.

I don't know what happens to money from this Locals because sometime back the government interfered and required filling in impossible forms. The cash stopped coming in.

Obviously somebody has it, but I don't and I never heard any more about it. I'll take a look at it again and maybe we'll have some money there to donate to such worthy causes.
In the meantime, as individuals we can work to make sure that those who report complete and honest news are supported.

Well we're talking about such matters, Has this locals outlived its usefulness.? There are only a few of us contributing and I'm not sure how many are reading but every so often I hear that people are also subscribing to grammawillows.

I've never been there and probably never will be but are we duplicating efforts? If so maybe it's time to shut this Locals down.

Why pay to subscribe to two Locals if one is doing the job?

Pierre Poilievre's Early Life and Biggest Hits as MP

Pierre Poilievre was born on June 3, 1979, in Calgary, Alberta, to a 16-year-old high school student mother who placed him for adoption shortly after his birth; he was raised by his adoptive parents, Marlene and Donald Poilievre, both schoolteachers from Saskatchewan who had recently relocated to Calgary, alongside his younger brother Patrick in a middle-class Roman Catholic household that emphasized education and public service. His biological parents later divorced when he was around 12, and in his early twenties, he connected with his biological mother, a nurse in North Carolina, and his maternal grandfather for the first time.
Growing up in suburban Calgary, Poilievre enjoyed competitive sports like hockey, football, and wrestling—though a shoulder tendinitis injury at age 14 sidelined him from the latter, prompting him to accompany his mother to a Progressive Conservative meeting that sparked his lifelong interest in politics!
