Like them or not, this is the only real plan from a federal party that addresses the confederation problem.

They say love is about listening. About respect. About showing up for each other, even when it’s hard.

But lately, Ottawa has been a pretty terrible partner.

Frustration in Alberta and Quebec isn't just frustration anymore. It's a wound. A growing belief that Confederation has failed them.

A petition circulating for a referendum on Alberta independence proves this sentiment is real, and growing. In Quebec, the separatist Parti Québécois is leading in the polls.

The message from these provinces could not be clearer: Ottawa, we have a problem.

So what are the establishment parties doing this Valentine’s weekend?

Nothing. They don’t even acknowledge that anger. They ignore the one they claim to love.

The Liberals and fake Conservatives continue to violate the constitutional division of powers.

They trample on provincial jurisdiction. They undermine the autonomy of provinces with their imperial federalism.

This attitude does not support a healthy relationship.

It breeds resentment and fuels separatist movements, particularly in Quebec and Alberta.

They are not governing in the best interest of Canada. They are fueling the very resentment that could tear apart this relationship.

Scott, the PPC is the only party with a plan to stop this madness and rebuild trust.

We have the solution: radical decentralization.

Here is what we will do:

✅ Scrap federal programs in provincial areas like health, education, and housing. No more strings attached. No more Ottawa knows best.

✅ Replace health transfers with tax points. Let provinces raise their own revenue and be accountable to their own people for the results.

✅ Fix Equalization. Stop punishing provinces like Alberta. Reform a broken formula that has sowed division for over 60 years.

We do not want Canada to break up. We want to save it. But saving it requires a radical shift of power back to the provinces, where it belongs.

That is the PPC's plan. It is bold. It is necessary. And it is the only plan on the table that addresses the root cause of national disunity.
