Listening to Ganum talking about the referendum and how to prove eligibility to vote made me realize this isn't news. The Feds have been doing this for many elections as I had to explain to many voters you don't reside in a postal box. You need a legal land description if rural to vote. They could use their photo idea and a bill or statement with legal address to get a ballot. I don't understand why this is becoming a problem as in Provincial elections the same rule applies. Why is this a problem for the referendum? Ganum didn't realize that a postal box wouldn't be enough although IMHO he is just a former news reader.
Listened to this today and she stated fairly emphatically her opinion on Separation after a question about Jason Stephan. He is my MLA and I agree with him that the people need to get out and vote whether for or against. Some good calls.
