In January 2025, Mark Carney walked out of the corporate boardrooms to run for the Liberal Party leadership. By March he was prime minister and a few months later he won a general election with a mandate to protect Canadian sovereignty from a seemingly predatory U.S. administration. Despite his multiple conflicts of interest with the globalists’ agendas, Canadians viewed Carney as a champion for their national interests.

The trust in Carney is misplaced when one considers what he wrote of his beliefs in his book Value(s). In the book, Carney envisions a future ideal world where climate issues have been solved by a supra-national governing organization (i.e. WEF) that harnesses private sector capital for public sector green initiatives. He envisions dictating to corporations a stakeholder capitalism that takes into account prescribed environmental goals, which would be factored above shareholder interests. He sees central bankers managing the corporations, rewarding those that align with set environmental policy and penalizing those who do not align.

Likewise, Carney believes social behaviour can be influenced with sticks (taxes) and carrots (subsidies), very much the socio-economic approach that has guided the Trudeau Liberals through Canada’s Lost Decade (2015-2024). Verily, he has championed Ottawa’s green initiatives subsidizing renewable energy projects and EV manufacturing. He has also been a champion of hiking the carbon taxes on individuals and businesses, and continuing to turn the screws tighter until the government realizes their targets. Carney has pointedly stated, “Meaningful carbon prices are a cornerstone of any effective policy framework.” He has repeatedly argued that the carbon taxes must be higher in order for Canada to meet the UN’s 2030 and 2050 emissions targets.

One might also conclude that trust is misplaced in Carney when considering who is in his backroom. The quarterback of Carney’s political operatives is Gerald Butts, Justin Trudeau’s close friend and former principal secretary. For Carney, Butts is a perfect play caller for he is an

ardent environmental activist who is similarly committed to the UN’s 2030 Agenda. From his offices at the Eurasia Group, an international consultancy specializing in global environmental initiatives, Butts remains a central driver of the Liberals’ green agenda. Working beside Butts has been Carney’s wife, Diane Fox, whose reputation precedes her as a fevered “eco-warrior,” passionate about environmental and social justice causes. She works in the Eurasia Group’s New York offices as a senior advisor with expertise in “global climate and energy policy” and a zeal for net-zero transition projects. Also plying his trade at the Eurasia Group was Evan Solomon, formerly a dismissed CBC News personality, who is now one of Carney’s cabinet ministers responsible for establishing Canada’s digital ID and AI framework.

PM Carney has also been strategic in choosing his chief of staff, Marc-Andre Blanchard. This new head of the prime minister’s office (PMO) was previously Canada’s representative at the UN and was there when Canada signed onto Agenda 2030 (and he was also at the UN championing the Global Compact for Migration). Blanchard has a long history at the UN and in the corporate world, and both Carney and Blanchard are wholly committed to the 2030 Agenda, net-zero goals, and EV mandates. More significantly, both are committed to a global carbon tax regime designed to have countries transition from fossil fuels and halt the production of oil and gas.

There are multiple globalists who Carney appointed since becoming PM. Mark Wiseman is Canada’s new Ambassador to the U.S. Wiseman knows Carney from his Goldman Sach days and he is another staunch supporter of the UN’s Global Compact for Migration, co-authoring “The Century Initiative” – a plan to more than double Canada’s population by mass migration. Then there is David Lametti who was appointed as Canada’s ambassador to the UN. Lametti is a former Trudeau cabinet minister, who is responsible for the “get-out-of-jail-free” deal for SNC-Lavalin and the Liberals’ soft-on-crime policies, and he was also the minister responsible for evoking the Emergencies Act, which Carney advised to quell the “seditious acts” of the Freedom Convoy protestors.

Carney’s political team made news south of the border as well when the New York Post ran a feature story: “Justin Trudeau replacement, Canadian Liberal leader Mark Carney’s, deep ties to U.S. Democrat bigwigs exposed.” The Post states the new PM has gone to great lengths to hide his association with John Podesta, former advisor to President Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, and the head of President Joe Biden’s $375 billion slush fund for green groups and programs. Given that Podesta was overseeing the green grifting in Washington D.C., it should come as no surprise that the bridging link between Podesta and Carney is Gerald Butts.

With Mark Carney in the prime minister’s office, the Canadian government now raises red flags in the U.S. From the Joe Rogan podcast to the Promethean Action political briefs, Canada is regularly being cited internationally as a country that is actively applying WEF strategies to control its citizens, from the freezing of bank accounts and debanking individuals, to digitizing IDs and restricting individual rights.

There is no mistaking the ideological bent and the anti-American biases of the Carney government. In the fall of 2025, Carney participated in UN meetings and was demonstrative in telegraphing that Canada is moving towards a new set of foreign policies aligned with a select

group of leaders, less aligned with the U.S. and more coordinated with the European Union (E.U.). Carney sat down with The Economist for a flattering feature, Mark Carney’s radical vision for handling Trumpian America, in which the magazine identified Carney as “The Player of Games” who is leading “a new free-trade revolution” and masterfully establishing new international trading blocs. At the same time, he conducted a televised address to the nation where he emphasized a dire analysis that the close relationship between Canada and the U.S. is “ruptured” and all that had bound the two nations is now over.

From Beijing to Davos, PM Carney is repeatedly making international headlines with his consequential addresses about Canada’s participation in forging a “New World Order.” In early 2026, Carney showcased a trip to Beijing with China President Xi Jinping and the leaders of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) to announce a new Canada-China strategic partnership that is to usher in a new era and establish a New World Order. Leaving China, Carney then held court in Davos, where he took to a WEF stage to declare the old rules-based order is dead, and Canada is ready to lead those willing to forge a New World Order. In his post-address Q&A session (at the 30 minute mark), the WEF moderator gushed at Carney, “You are the epiphany of a globalist…”

It is important to understand the interplay and potential impact Mark Carney’s globalist beliefs will have on Canadians’ national interests.
