I got to wondering about the word 'green'. It's being used everywhere. And it seems everybody wants to be green.
We have a green party, we have green energy, green everything.
OK so I looked it up in the dictionary and among other things here are the definitions I found most applicable.

• ENVIOUS —used especially in the phrase green with envy
• marked by a pale, sickly, or nauseated appearance
• not ripened or matured
• deficient in training, knowledge, or experience
• deficient in sophistication and savoir faire : NAIVE
• 'green and credulous'
• not fully qualified for or experienced in a particular function

Hmm. They were telling us all along and now we get it.
